Apa itu Gaya Normal ?

Gaya Normal (N)
Gaya normal adalah gaya kontak yang kedudukannya tegak lurus bidang kontak dan arahnya menjauhi bidang kontak. Gambar 1.9. memperlihatkan gaya normal sebagai gaya kontak.

Perhatikan baik-baik gambar 1.9. dan lihat bahwa titik tangkap gaya normal (N) selalu terletak pada bidang kontak.
